About

In my younger years (I'm currently a happily retired civil servant) I had a passion for photography. I was a photographer for my University's student newspaper providing photos of day-to-day school events, concerts & sports (shooting B&W film and processing the negatives and prints myself). I was selected to be one of three official photographers for the Western Canada Summer Games held in Regina in 1987. It was an amazing experience and introduction to the excitement & pressure working in a creative environment within a tight operating time window. A perk from that job was a flight in the Kodak hot air balloon over the city of Regina. My formal training (University of Regina/Red River College) in the field of computer science lead me into a career of bits & bytes, but photography was always around when I found the time to go out and shoot.

Some of the exciting opportunities I've shot are:

-1987 Western Canada Summer Games (Regina)
-2008 Manitoba Motocross
-2009 ALMS Sportscars at Road America
-2009 Manitoba Moose AHL Hockey
-2010 NASCAR at Richmond Raceway in Virginia
-2010 Construction of the new James Richardson International Airport
-2011 ALMS Sportscars at Road America
-2012 Manitoba Karting Race at Assiniboia Downs
-2013 GrandAM/ALMS Sportscars at Road America
-2017 Canada Summer Games (Winnipeg)
